Marty has owned and operated the Big League Experience since 1997. A former Canadian Olympic team coach (Athens 2004) and Canadian National Team head coach, Marty spent 14 years as a Major League scout — primarily with the Milwaukee Brewers. His network spans professional baseball across North America, and his commitment to developing young athletes is the foundation everything at BLE is built on.

Head coach at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. Pitched 11 professional seasons with the Angels, White Sox, Red Sox, Royals, and Marlins. Former pitching coach with Team Canada's Junior and Senior National Teams.

Head coach of the Bend Elks in the West Coast League — one of America's premier collegiate summer leagues. Regarded as one of the best hitting coaches in the Pacific Northwest.

Head coach of Team BC's Canada Games gold medal team. Led Team BC Bantam Girls to bronze at the first-ever national tournament. Baseball BC coaching leader.

44 years in professional baseball. Former Major League player with the St. Louis Cardinals — teammate of Stan Musial. Big League manager with the New York Mets. Hitting coordinator with the Kansas City Royals. Tom was a foundational member of the BLE coaching staff and his legacy lives on in the program.
